It's only 7:00 (on a school night!!!). Pleeease?
And, just so I know which of you is my strong-mom competition out there: who WOULDN'T
capitulate when faced with a bottom lip like that?
But, I'm strong. So strong.
Me: NO.
Me: No.
Syd: Then will YOU play Barbie's with me? Right now Ariel is swimming in the ocean getting ready to swim past this house boat full of sisters who don't believe in mermaids. They're having a tea party. I want them to face away from Ariel so that she can surprise them and...and...you can play the seven sisters!
Me: Hum...on second thought, where's Jill's phone number?
I'm so weak.
Yep, life's rough when you're 5 (almost 6), an only child, bored as all-get-out and have a mom who doesn't remember how to play make-believe! FYI...I played the seven sisters.
Lata.

Aw...Syd--I'll play the sisters for you, but I'm afraid I'll bore you to pieces with my imagination! Wish you were next door--we'd play at 7!
Oh Barbies...I never liked 'em. If I have girls, I hope they don't - I think I'd have a hard time imagining fun with them. P.S. I finished and loved the 4th book. :) See ya Sunday!
That is a wicked beautiful face your daughter has and yes it would be difficult to say no to such sweetness. good job on staying strong *wink wink*
